Randy and Avis Hammer have owned Country Store Floral since 1997, but their floral and garden center experience and interest didn’t start there. Both became interested in Horticulture through 4-H in their younger years, pursued it in college and after working at floral shops or greenhouses in Jackson, Worthington, Detroit Lakes, and Litchfield bought a place of their own in Waconia.

Located on the shores of Lake Waconia, Country Store Floral offers a unique shopping experience. Fresh flowers for every occasion are available all year long, yet every season will bring a different focus. In the spring, the garden center abounds with a wonderful selection of annuals (including Proven Winners varieties), perennials, vegetables, and some flowering shrubs. If you don’t quite have a green thumb or like to keep your gardens fresh, replacement plants are available all summer. In the fall, mums and pumpkins and other fall offerings appear to keep everything looking good. Don’t forget the bulb plants, some of them need to be planted in the fall for spring beauty.  In the winter, tree tops, wreaths, garlands and other Christmas greens join the poinsettias to get us in the Holiday spirit.
